Why get a professional clean?

Carpets need regular cleaning to keep them fresh and hygienic.  Our professional cleaning will not only keep allergy-causing house dust mites and bacteria to a minimum, but will also extend the life of your carpets. 

The right equipment to do the job

To effectively clean and remove deep-set stains you need the right equipment that will agitate, rinse and extract the solution.  Effective agitation of carpet fibres loosens the soil deep down in the pile, to provide a deep and thorough clean removing residual dirt that would otherwise wick up as the carpet dries.  Loosened dirt and solution is recovered from deep in the carpet pile using high temperature water jets sent through the extraction wand under high pressure.  The powerful vacuum extraction system will then remove all the moisture and soiling from the carpet.  We use a Phoenix Truckmount machine which has a powerful pressure pump (up to 1000psi), which we can use with a range of wands, and an Oreck Orbiter to agitate and even dry clean carpets.  Smaller carpet cleaning machines lack the power and suction to provide a deep clean, leaving chemical residues in the carpet.

We use the most appropriate chemicals that are right for the job.  We can deliver great results using the minimum quantity and strength of cleaning chemicals.  This is safer for your carpets and the environment.

We also have many years experience and a wide range of stain removers in our van which can tackle most accidents.  We don’t use  stain removers that you can buy in the shops - these often include a bleaching agent which can cause more damage to your carpet than the original stain.  Do scrape up solids, and blot up any excess liquids to remove as much of the spill as possible.  Then call us.

There are many different ways of cleaning rugs.  We’re experienced in them all.  We also undertake minor repairs, including colour run treatment.  We can clean rugs in situ, or at our studio in Milton Abbas if we need to use some of our specialist equipment, such as our centrifugal drier.
